Tommie Lee Alexander Jr. was born on October 14th, 1959 to Geraldine Alexander and Tommie Lee Alexander Sr. in Chicago Illinois.
Tommie attended Crown and Henson Elementary School, then finished his educational journey at Manley High School.
Tommie gave his life to Christ at a young age when he joined Lawndale Missionary Baptist Church.
Tommie had a love for music. He played the guitar, drums and he loved to sing. He had a wide range of music he enjoyed but his favorites were Jazz and Gospel. He participated in many bands like The Coqastatics and The Tones of Joy as well as gospel choirs. No matter where life took him, he was always able to find the music.
Tommie also had a love for food. He loved cooking and feeding others. Weather it was his infamous spaghetti or skill on the grill, your taste buds and tummy were safe with him!
Tommie was called home on March 19th at Swedish Convenient. He will be reunited in heaven with his father Tommie Lee Alexander Sr. and sister Sylvia Holmes. He leaves to cherish his memories, his mother Geraldine Alexander, 2 brothers Reginald Alexander and Keith Alexander, 1 sister Yvette Lewis, 1 son Adonte Waters (Kenyatta Waters), 1 daughter Adriana Alexander, and 5 grand-children Nevaeh Waters, Hezekiah Waters, Alaja Waters, Shiprah Waters and Jaleah Waters. A special friend Latanza Anderson. Along with a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and friends.
Tommie brought joy to everyone in the room and was loved by many.
