Tarita Green-Brown was born March 29, 1973 to Henry Green and Marita Green who preceded her in death.
Tarita accepted Christ as her savior at an early age. Tarita attended Roswell B. Mason Elementary and Austin High School on the west side of Chicago.
After high school she worked at Moutn Sinai Hospital until 2003 when she became a stay-at-home mom.
Tarita and Darren Brown were married in 1991 and to this union they were blessed with three boys; Andre Brown (Red), Darren Brown Jr., and Jalen Brown.
Tarita loved to cook and grocery shop. She spent most of her hours in the kitchen cooking, spending time with family and listening to stepping music.
On March 5th, 2021 the Lord lifted her from her earthly body and up to his Kingdom.
She leaves to cherish her memories: Her husband: Darren Brown; Her sons: Andre, Darren Jr., and Jalen Brown; Three brothers: Michael L. Pitts, Leon V. Pitts, and Dantrell Green; Three sisters: Venus Williams, LaShawnda D. Young, and Marshanay Green; Grandchildren: Amin Brown and Andre Brown Jr.; Sister-in-Laws: Ola Penter and Bridget Pitts; Brother-in-Laws: Michael Brown and Ethan Brown, and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
