RayShawn Hudgins Jr. was born in to this life April 11, 1991. He was preceded in death by his Grandmothers Vera Hudgins, Bessie R. Jackson and Grandfather LT Jackson
RayShawn joined Canaan MB Church, accepted Christ and was baptized at the age of 13 in Lake Michigan along with his brother and sister by Rev Lacy E. Simpson, Jr.
RayShawn loved music and started rapping in church as SHAWN DA BAPTIST. He continued rapping in adulthood as SK DA GOD. He would often be in the studio with his brother, cousins and friends.
RayShawn was proud and honored to preform a song he had written with the musician and actor Commonat his 8th grade graduation from John Hope Community Academy. He also won a radio contest where he called in to rap on the spot on a random topic.
RayShawn would hug you and you just felt better. He knew how to make you laugh and keep your spirits up. He was a character.
RayShawn was a very hard worker. He would do odd jobs for friends and family while working as the Grill Master at Best Barbecue, Line cook at Bar 10 Doors and a mover with Steelmen, Men of Steel Movers as well as Midway movers
RayShawn joined our Creator on January 28,2023 and he leaves to mourn his passing his father RayShawn Hudgins Sr. his mother, LaRhonda Pearce, Stepfather Curtis Pearce Grandfather Marion Lee,
Justina Sanders and Darresha Pope, who are the mothers of his 5 children Ne’yah, KeMani, Nylah, Novah and RayShawn III-Tre (arriving in July) one brother Rodrick, and four stepbrothers Terrence, Aaron (Nichelle) Angelo (Latoya), Christopher and his baby sister LaShonda who he told everyone was his first born, six nephews four nieces. He had the closest relationship to nephews MarShawn, Ryan and Rayce and niece Reign.

RayShawn absolutely LOVED his children. He would do anything for them. He is entrusting Justina and Darresha will keep his memory alive in the hearts of his children
RayShawn had a special relationship with his first best friend and younger brother Rodrick, his Aunt Jacqueline and his cousins Jermaine, Diane, Willie, Mercedes, Rajeeyah, Tyanna
