Ray Charles McCline was born on May 31, 1955 to the late Tommie Lee and Ida Lee McCline. He was baptized at Alpha Omega Baptist Church under the leadership of the late Rev. James C. Hooks. He joined Alpha Omega Baptist Church at an early age and was an Usher on the Usher Board.
Ray worked a few jobs but most of his work experience was at Sears and Roebuck where he worked for 27 years until he retired.
Ray loved being around his family. He especially loved going to the family reunions. He was quiet but would always be willing to listen and help his family. He loved baseball and was trained to become a White Sox Player. He enjoyed all types of music. Although he did not have children, his nieces and nephews were his children.
Ray was called home on April 19, 2022.
Ray leaves to cherish his sweet memories: Two brothers Jerry Seaton of Memphis TN and Kendrick McCline of Chicago Heights, IL; Two sisters Lillie McCline of Shelby, MS and Lynnette (Garrell) Smith of Chicago, IL and host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
