Michelle Jones

Michelle Jones was born on August 5, 1980, in Chicago, Illinois to Janis Jones and Michael Gibson.

Michelle was raised on the Westside of Chicago where she attended Roberto Clemente High School. She became a mother of two children, Destiny and Deshaun.

Michelle was a devoted mother who provided unconditional love and support to her children. There wasn't anything she wouldn't do for her kids. Michelle always went above and beyond for the people she cared about. For that, she was truly loved.

Michelle departed this life on Friday, June 16, 2023. She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Willie Mae Jones and her infant daughter Precious MaeJones.

She leaves to cherish her memory, two children, Destiny Tartt and Deshaun Jones; and their father Robert Crump.

She also leaves to cherish her memory, her mother, Janis Jones; her stepfather, Anthony McGhee; three sisters: Ella Nelson, Shannon Jones, and Shante McGhee; two brothers, Curtis Nelson Jr. and Jason McGhee; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
