Mary Frances Smith

Mary Frances Smith (Candy) was born August 24,1963 in Brighton,Tennessee to the parents of Frances Smith and Jerry Thompson.

Mary attended Robert Nathaniel Dett Elementary School and Crane High School where she graduated and went on to work at Bethany.

Mary gave her life to Christ at an early age where she was baptized at Metropolitan Church. Mary later became a member of New Grace Ministries where she received her ministries license. Mary loved her some New Grace Ministries where their motto is WE STILL BELIEVE GOD and she did just that.

 Mary was the most happiest big hearted woman you could meet Mary was loved by everyone. She was a great mother, grandmother, great grandmother, friend, and sister. Mary even had kids that she didn't birth but she was their mom and granny to them as well.

 Mary was called home to be the lord on April 9, 2023 at 3:36 a.m.

 Mary leaves to cherish her memories mother: Frances; Three adult children and a bonus son: Latoya, Chrisshaun, Davyatta and Anthony(Boogie); Two brothers: Christopher and Kenyatta; Six grandkids: Marshaun, Dazyla, Jaliyah, Smyah, Ziyan and Makayla; A bonus daughter Shotae Arterberry; Two nephews: Justine (Kenyatta) and Lil Chris (Christopher); A very close extended brother: Wallace Bryant; Two great grandkid: Karter and Deshaun Jr.; Mary had a lot of friends her best friend starting from her childhood Jackie Dotson and Tina Parker up until adulthood then there was Bertha, Nita, Lisa, Shell, and a lot more. A host of auntie's and uncles and a very special friend Emma Jackson. 

 Mary is preceded in death by her dad: Jerry Thompson; Grandkids: Deshaun(Bankroll Juice), Makei (Shorty Grown),and Mikeal (Davyatta) and one of best friends Bertha Dorsey and a lot more.
