Louise Hawkins was born April 23, 1937, in Mississippi to John and Gertrude Hawkins who preceded her in death. She was the youngest of six children who preceded her in death.
In September 1962 she was united in holy matrimony to Clarence Howard. He preceded her in death in June 2007. To this union was born one child.
Louise attended Mississippi Valley State University. She worked at Hall’s Printing Company which published Jet and Ebony magazine. She later worked at Little Sisters of the Poor helping to care for the sick and elderly.
Louise was a funny and loving person who possessed a unique personality. She was he life of all family gatherings. Her sense of humor, smile, and laughter brought so much joy to the ones who knew her. She was an amazing mother, giving to a fault, a woman of faith and integrity.
Louise was called home on November 7, 2021.
She leaves to cherish her memory one child: Alex; Three grandchildren: LaToya, Candice, and Alex Jr.; Two great grandchildren: August and Darian; A half-sister Alberta Baldwin of Indiana. She also leaves a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
