Jessie White Obituary

Jessie James White Sr was born November 20, 1972, in Chicago, IL  to the late Jessie James Coleman and Stella Wilks White. He was the youngest of five children.

Jessie attended Chicago Public Schools, John M. Smyth Elementary and Dunbar Vocational High School, where he graduated as a member of the National Honor Society.

Jessie accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized at Pleasant Ridge Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Reverend Joseph Jones. He later re-dedicated his life to Christ in 2017 and joined Total Life Christian Center under the leadership of Pastor Kendrick Turner, where he was a faithful member.

After graduating high school, Jessie was gainfully employed. He was a devoted employee of Folger Adam in Lemont, IL until the company relocated to Texas. He subsequently began a career as a dedicated General Manager at Supersonic Petroleum until he fell ill.

Jessie was lovingly known as Reddman or Redd by his family and friends. His greatest joy was becoming a father and father figure that dedicated himself to providing for his family.

He was always willing to help, always willing to listen, and would give the best advice that he could. He brought joy to everyone that he met, and he never met a stranger.

Win or lose, Jessie was a diehard Chicago Bears and Chicago White Sox fan.

On July 5th, 1987, Jessie met and started dating Annie Roshell Spearman. In later years, they were reconnected and then united in Holy Matrimony on March 24, 2012. From this union came the blessing of love, peace, and fellowship, bonded with the sweet and fun memories from childhood to adulthood.
