Harvey Perry was born March 28,1960 in Chicago,IL to Andrew Lee Love Sr. and Modena Perry both preceded him in death.
Harvey accepted Christ at an early age at Pleasant Valley Baptist Church. Harvey later became a member & baptized in 1997 at Greater Mount Cavalry Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership o fRev. Edicott Ivy.
Harvey attended Lawson Elementary School, Hess Upper Grade Center,and Manley High School.
Harvey was a very hard working Family man working several jobs, at the Chicago Park District, Daley College,Tootsie Roll,Terrace Paper Company in Cicero,Pepperidge Farms in Downers Groveand his most recent job at Hearthside Bakery in Michigan City, Indiana.
In 1990 Harvey met Leatha Redmond and In May of 1996 Harvey & Leatha were united in holy matrimony. To this union one child was born.
Harvey was known to many by his nickname “Harv” or “HP” by many of his family and friends.
Harvey was kind hearted gentle man who loved his family & friends & loved to make you laugh. Harvey enjoyed swimming,listening to old school R&B music, watching movies, singing & dancing,& looking at Old School Classic Cars his favorite pastime.
Harvey transitioned into eternity on Sunday February 16, 2020.
Harvey is preceded in death by:His Parents Andrew & Modena; sister:Beatrice Love; grandparents: Eugene & Ida Love.
Harvey leaves to cherish his memory: A loving wife Leatha Perry; a daughter: Tameka; two stepsons: Cornelius and Lajuan; four brothers: Andrew (Wilhemina), Edgar (Betty), Tony (Janice), Kevin (Alice); a sister, Lillie Hudson; seven sisters-in-law, five brothers-in-law, a special sister-in-law: Marlene; one aunt: Edna; special sisters and brothers; a special Redmond Family, a special Church family, a special friend: Jason Rispoli, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
