Geraldine Alexander was born on March 5, 1941, to Drucilla Harvey and King Harvey in Elbert, West Virginia.
Drucilla and King Harvey (both preceded her in death) were loving parents to thirteen children and Geraldine was the seventh child.
Geraldine attended Elbert Elementary School, then finished her education journey at Gary District High School.
When Geraldine became of age. She decided to follow in the footsteps of her older sister (Evelyn) to Chicago Illinois in 1957. Where she met her husband, Tommie Lee Alexander. They committed and united their love in marriage June of 1958 and over the years they raised five beautiful children.

Geraldine gave her life to Christ and became a born-again Christian at Lawndale Missionary Baptist Church.
Geraldine always loved to travel and spend time with her family. Once the family got together you were for sure to have a good time with non-stop singing and laughter. Being around family meant the world to her and it brought her so much joy. She also loved to cook and go for walks either around her neighborhood to the local store or on the lake front downtown of Chicago.
Geraldine made her transition going home on May 29th. She will be reunited in heaven with her husband Tommie Lee Alexander Sr., Oldest son Tommie Lee Alexander Jr., and oldest daughter Sylvia Alexander who preceded her in death. She leaves to cherish her memories her sons Keith Alexander, Reginald Alexander, daughter Yvette Lewis, (22) Grand Children, (43) Great Grands and (1) Great- Great Grand Child.
Geraldine brought joy and happiness to everyone she encountered.
