On December 26,1941, Feacious (Fee Jack) Collinteen Johnson was born in Chicago, IL to the late Albert and Zetta Washington.
Fee was the fifth child of six children. Her husband, Harold (Pete) T. Johnson, brother Claude, and sisters, Alves (Dee Dee) and Alvera, all preceded her in death.
Fee attended Lucy L. Flowers Vocational High School. She accepted Christ at a young age. She was a member of Mt. Sinai Baptist Church, in Chicago, IL.
Fee was employed by David Farragut High School and Brach’s Candy Company.
Fee’s home was not just a home it was a safe haven of love, laughter, and incredible meals. Especially, her Macaroni and Cheese, Fried Cornbread, and Coconut Cake.
Fee had a passion for bowling and loved playing Bid Whist and Spades. She loved her jazz and R&B music, treasured her memories, but her love for family was in a league of its own. With open arms and fearless heart, she embraced every breath, every moment, every joy life gave her. She also found joy and freedom touring the city on her motorcycle, embracing every ride with spirit and style.
Fee was a loyal confidant; anything shared with her stayed with her. You could always count on her to give sound advice. There was nothing that could compare to her love of family, it was always unmatched.
Fee had a way of making everyone laugh with her practical jokes. She was known for writing you out a check on toilet paper, calling to say, “I was stinking about you”, or calling to ask, “Is this the house of ill repute”. Her jokes will be etched in our hearts for a lifetime. But… don’t get it twisted, she always stood on business and didn’t take any sugar honey iced tea from anyone!!!
Fee leaves many memories to cherish, her sisters, Ceautrious (Teen) Housley, Mauveline (Maude) Duncan, her brother, Albert (June Bug) Washington Jr., her Children, Erik Johnson (Tarsha), Donna Johnson-Winston (Maurice), Sean Johnson, and Kimberly Johnson. Her Grandchildren, Devon (Vanessa), Tenicka, Keyonda, Brittany, Dantrell, Paris, Sean Jr., Diamond, and Marianna. A host of Great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Fee leaves behind her beloved fiancé, Joseph H. Lee. He brought love and happiness into every moment they shared.
