Erma Jean Jackson was born October 29, 1949 in Louise Mississippi to the union of Maxine Scott and Darnell Smith.
Jean attended Waller High School were Bobbie Sue was the “soft one”, Shirley was the “Enforcer” and Jean was the “Smooth Talker”
Jean Joined the Church of the Living God Temple #78 in April of 2001. She loved to talk about the Lord and would often be heard signing her favorite Gospel Song “When the Gates Swing Open”.
Jean loved her family and her best moments were spending time with her Grandchildren. She also enjoyed hosting holiday gatherings were she would make her world famous dressing.
Jean departed this world on Wednesday October 16th and joined the angels in her heavenly home. She fought a good fight, she finished the race, and she kept the faith.
She leaves to cherish her memories her daughter Charlene Jackson (Greg), her sons Markece (Gina), Slyvestor (Maria) and Anthony. Her Grandchildren Tyrell, Jaylin, Sabrina, Deija, William, Jeremy, Erin, Tabari and a host of other family and friends.
