Eric Jones

On May 8th 2020, the Lord called one of his faithful soldiers home, Eric  Jones. Eric was born on October 17th 1964 to Verlee Jones and Bertha Owens. He went Lowell Elementary near Humboldt Park on the Westside of Chicago. Eric then went to Orr Academy High School where he love woodshop classes. Eric love Texas as his home. 

Eric was employed as a Lumber Jack in Arlington Texas, Tarrant County Northern Texas between Fort Worth. Once known for its cotton ginning and agricultural products. Eric love to take care of the Trees and the horses, He would talked about performing the initial harvesting and transporting of trees for ultimate processing into the forest products.

 Eric became a member at Sunny Mt Zion Missionary Baptist under the Leadership of Pastor Mack Fowler and First Lady Ruby Fowler. Eric came to know Jesus as his personal Savior and old things were passed away and all things had become new in Christ Jesus. He enjoyed fellowshipping with the mothers and elders of the church and fell in love with the Sunny Mt. Zion Choir.

Eric was called home May 8th at 9:22pm, Eric was preceded in death by Father Verlee Jones and Brother Jesse Jones Sister Beverly.

 Eric leaves to cherish his memories, loving parents AC and Bertha Haymon. Sister Sharon (Kenneth) and Kenneth Haymon Brother. Sisters Demetra/Pricilla/Debbie, Two Nieces Kanisha, Janisha Three Nephews Keyshawn, Rayvon, Kenyon. Eric also leaves a host of Aunts and Uncles and a big host of Cousins, Great Nieces and Nephews friends all over the world.
