Edward Charles Brown

The crowd gathered in great mass to gain entrance in the theater called life. Once inside there was no standing room. Suddenly the lights were dimmed as a peaceful heart filled the room, the curtains were drawn and there stood Edward Charles Brown Jr affectionately known as Lil Eddie B.  Edward Charles Brown Jr was born November 6, 1987 to Edward Charles Sr. and Jennella L. Brown. Eddie C. preceded him in death. Lil Eddie was the second of six children and the first born son.

Lil Eddie was more than a star in our lives. He was a creative person who acknowledged he would need Jesus Christ as his lord and savior on this road called life, so he accepted him into his heart at an early age.

The stage of life had a lot to offer Lil Eddie so he worked for it. He attended Daniel Webster elementary school and Manley Career Academy High School. He graduated from CCA Academy. He won the championship for his team at CCA. He was a scholar. Edward continued his schooling where he attended Malcolm X College, and also went to Texas to attend college. He was a very intelligent and bright student. He was a sports fan and he loved basketball. He loved the game and he also enjoyed traveling to several countries playing basketball. He was a true ball player. He also loved working out in the gym. He also loved his family. Lil Eddie was a very loving father, humble son, grandson, brother, nephew, companion, uncle, cousin, and friend. Had a smile that would light up the room, a loving spirit, and also loved to crack jokes on the people he loved his family and friends. But little did expectors know on May 28th, 2023 it would be his greatest performance.

Standing back stage were those went before him, his father Edward C Sr, his Grandfather Willie “Doc” Brown, Uncles Emora Webb, Alvin “Chewkie”, Rickey Foy, Willie Foy, Aunts Deborah “Molly”, Varinia “Tutu”, and Michelle Webb.

Edward leaves to cherish his fond and loving memories his children Emonni Brown and Edward Charles the 3rd, Mother Jennella Love Brown, both Grandmothers Jennella P. Brown and Celestine Webb, his siblings Crystal Love Brown, Edwin “Smooch” Brown, Christina “Dana” Brown, Kenthina “Foo” Brown and Edmond Brown. His nieces Cache, Elysia, Tahiry, and Emmery. HIs nephews Donnell, Camari, and MJ. Aunts Kathy, Alexis, and Sylvia. His uncles Willie Jr and Kenneth (Kina), close cousin Lavell Brown. The Foy family and his soulmate Latoya Garrett.
