Dwayne LaShawn Cooper of Madison, Wisconsin was born to the late Mary Lee Cooper and John Bradley on December 10, 1965 in Gary, Indiana. Dwayne accepted Jesus Christ as his savior and was baptized in 2013.
Dwayne “Shawn” attended Manley High School in Chicago, Illinois, and later graduated with his high school diploma. He was accepted into several technical and college preparatory high schools because of his high intelligence and creativity. As a child, he dreamed of becoming an architect or engineer.
Dwayne was a member of the Local 383 Labor Union in Madison, Wisconsin, and passed all the rigorous assessments and earned several apprenticeship certificates. He also was a construction worker and a freelance auto mechanic. Dwayne was highly intelligent with a high aptitude for science, technology, mathematics, and art.
On October 16, 2020, Dwayne LaShawn, a gentle and kind spirit, made his transition into eternal life. He leaves to cherish his only loving daughter: Trynyty LaShanne; One Grandson: Kyn’Dell; Three Sisters: Sharion (Gregory) of Minneapolis, MN, Minyone (Steven) of Chicago, IL, and Calvette; Four Uncles: C.L. and Charles of Gary, Indiana, Wilson and Robert Lee of Tchula, MS; Three Nieces: Nickie, Ikisha, and Tamara who preceded him in death); Five Nephews: Jarriel, Keyone, Secquyah, Dante, and Gregory, Jr., and a host of great nephews and cousins.
