Charles Edward Buford

Charles Edward Buford, also known as “Big Chuck”, was born in St. Louis Missouri on October 1, 1971 to Magnolia Buford and Larry Barnes. Magnolia later moved to Chicago where Charles attended Lathrop Elementary school in the late 1980’s on the Westside of Chicago, and he later continued his education at Collins High School.

Charles was a natural. He loved fixing on cars and listening to music, especially old school music and blues. He also loved dancing (and boy did he have some great dance moves in that wheelchair). Charles loved to cook and spend time with his family. Charles was blessed with a large and loving family that he loved dearly.

Charles was loved by many, especially his brothers, and he was considered the muscle of his family. On April 10, 2024 Charles was called home from this life to rest.

Charles was preceded in death by; his loving mother: Magnolia Buford; Stepdad: Hugh Williams; Son: Orlando Allen; Grandfather: Napoleon Buford Sr.; Aunts: Monnie L. Buford, Alma L. Buford, Shirley Buford; Uncles: Napoleon Buford Jr., Milton Buford, Robert Buford, & Henry Buford; Two special friends: Will Roper, & Darnell Harris.

Charles leaves to cherish his memory; his loving Spouse: Nicole Johnson; His father: Larry Barnes; His Grandmother: Eulla Lee Buford; His Siblings: Tyrone Buford (Tamika Buford), Hugh Buford, Dominic Buford (Tabatha Holt), & Demetrius Buford; Children: Charles Fleming (Erica Martin), Dashawn Buford, Tywon Buford, Kwamaine Williams, Charlette Williams, Roneal Buford, Leneal Buford, Valencia Allen, Mario Allen, Devonte Allen, Tiffany Johnson, & Danzell Johnson; Step Children: Hakeem Fleming, Princess Jordan, Johnathan Williams, & Keiland Williams; He also leaves to cherish his memory his favorite cousin: Danny R. Buford, and a host of grandchildren, neices, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, & friends whom he loved and adored.
