Barry Alan Savage Jr. was born on March 13, 1976, at Evanston Hospital in Evanston, Illinois. He was born to the parents of Barry Alan Savage Sr. and Bernadette Hill. He accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized at Love In Spirit Church under the leadership of Pastor Fred Cherry. He attended Carroll-Rosenwald Elementary School and Bogan High School.
Barry was a man who wore many hats. Before landing a job as a Heavy Machine Operator with Local 150, he was an entrepreneur.
He owned and promoted clubs throughout Chicago's city and suburbs and was known and loved by many in the “Bar World.”
He was an Amazing son, brother, father, uncle and friend. But one hat that everyone knew he REALLY wore was the party/entertainment hat. If “Life of the Party” were a person, it was him:-) He wasn’t just the “Life of the Party”; He WAS the party! Barry or “TC", as his friends would call him, knew how to draw a crowd. Anyone who had the pleasure of being in his presence was guaranteed a good time. He was very supportive of everyone’s endeavors. No matter the time, day, or place he was there. He showed up with compassion, motivation, advice, and even a little smack-talking. He also loved to travel in and out of the country, in which he traveled so much he referred to himself as “Where’s Waldo?” He left this earth doing the very thing he loved to do, but, Where’s Waldo now? Forever in our hearts!
On March 1, 2024, while on one of his many trips in Cozumel, Mexico, God summoned him home.
He is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents Sherman Savage Sr.and Esther Madden (Birl) and Maternal grandparents Fred and Wilma Ashford.
Barry leaves to cherish his memories with his father, Barry Alan Savage Sr. (Judy), mother, Bernadette Hill (Elijah), brother Anthony Savage (Lakisha), three sisters Sonjo Willis (Louis), Tyesha Gibson, Alexandria Donelson. two God-sisters Crystal Andrews, Jasmine Andrews, four sons Emontre Savage (Akilah), Barry III, Dereon, Gabriel and two daughters Bella and Savannah, with a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, God Children, and friends.
