Andre Smiley

Andre’ L Smiley was born March 22nd,1956 in Chicago Illinois, to the proud parents of Ruby Mae Smiley and Theopolis Jackson, Whom both preceded him in death as well as his brother Quovadus Smiley.

Andre’ confessed to Christ at an early age at Shiloh Baptist Church.

Andre’ attended Manley high school and furthered his education and became a certified nursing assistant. He provided home healthcare and retired from that field.

Andre’ loved to dress well and cook. His favorite past time was when he was a Disc Jockey at Ernestines Lounge. He had a love for music. Especially his favorite Areatha Franklin.

Andre’ L Smiley departed this life on October 19th at Sheridan Shores Care and Rehabilitation Center in Chicago Illinois. He leaves to cherish his memory : One brother Jeffery A. Smiley, and one sister Arshkyia D. Smiley-Span(Gregory), Three loving nieces Latanya Rowe-Anderson(Three girls and Two boys) , Brittany N. Smiley(Keenan), and Candise B. Mckinney-Harris(Sharrod), One great niece Cay’lin L. Smiley, and two great nephews Khalil Z. Morgan and Sharrod K. Mckinney-Harris Jr., two special cousins Lela(Mae) and Carol(Jean), and a host of cousins,aunt,uncles and friends.

Andre’ also leaves to cherish his memory a bonus family: Brothers Melvin Hudson, Fred Boner, Angie ‘Doll’ McCullum, Diane King Latrice(Trice’ Tilman), and a special friend Charles Anthony ‘Amp’ Davis
